#8 – You want to get the right marketing messages to the right people

In 2019 we saw a lot of exciting change for SugarCRM.  One of the most interesting things was the acquisition of marketing automation company Salesfusion, which has now been rebranded as Sugar Market.  Since the acquisition we’ve also seen Sugar pushing many new enhancements and integrations to the product as they continue to evolve and grow the product within their entire CX portfolio (learn more about CX here).  This solution is what is helping Sugar customers get the right marketing messages to the right people at the right time.

At SugarWest we are going to be talking about several solutions that are shaping the way the customer experience is evolving.  As a consumer, you’ve probably noticed that there is a lot of noise when it comes to marketing messages coming your way on a daily basis.  Marketing automation is the key to getting the right marketing messages to the right people because it uses data that you, the consumer or user, are collecting and sharing with providers.  These sophisticated software tools are then using that information to help sent you information that you actually:

  1. Care about
  2. Might actually read
  3. Could potentially take action on

The most common example of right marketing messages to the right people is Amazon.  For years now we’ve been able to look on Amazon’s web site to shop and look for products.  Some time later during the day or future days we’ll receive a non intrusive update giving us some info on the products we were recently looking at or suggestions for alternatives that may be priced better or offer additional benefits.
