I’ve been consulting for 15 years with businesses all across a variety of industries.  Much of my consulting has been in relation to CRM and database deployments which meant finding ways to make businesses much more efficient than they are the day before.  When we reviewed existing CRM deployments it always struck me how businesses didn’t take advantage of all of the tools available to them inside of their CRM databases.  The sad truth is that many simply use the basic sales tracking and customer database features of a CRM rather than explore some of the powerful features that CRM’s like SugarCRM have to offer.

Today I’d like to highlight three incredible features that SugarCRM has to offer you that you might not have considered before.

Drip Marketing

When you enter a lead into your database, what happens next?  Have you outlined a few steps to further engage your prospects?  SugarCRM offers a robust workflow engine that can allow you to create a powerful drip marketing campaign by sending out emails in regular intervals.  If you want to send them an email 7 days after they contact you from your website then you can.  If you want to stop the campaign once you’ve converted them to a client, perfect.  Let Sugar automate some of the marketing communications to help you keep your prospects thinking of you.
