When it comes to CRM, the goal should be to simplify processes within an organization as much as possible. This client wanted to get their first CRM while also integrating their e-commerce platform, accounting, quoting system and WordPress into it as well.
The way their e-commerce platform works is that their customers can select a number of different products for sampling. They can then process the order through the e-commerce site but there was previously no easy way of tracking the leads or the orders. We simply built a custom module in SugarCRM to track the products and linked it to the Leads module. Not only can they track the Leads but they can assign follow up’s, automate delivery notifications and create a seamless experience for their customers.
