Our Story

Customer Relationship Management software is what we do.  We’re really good at it because it’s all we do.

Eligeo was founded by Derek Major in January of 2008 after working for a number of telecoms, financial institutions and business service companies.  Derek’s goal was to tackle the high rate of failed CRM implementations with a business that could truly help small and medium sized businesses be successful.  Eligeo was created to be a true partner that allows our clients to succeed with CRM software where going it alone could be a failure.

Eligeo is partnered with a number of CRM software companies including SugarCRM, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.  As CRM software becomes more common and similar, we help clients take a CRM product and turn it into their own perfect solution that helps take their businesses to the next level.  We provide a combination of consulting and implementation expertise to succeed with this vision.

Derek has worked with CRM software since 1999 when he first worked with Goldmine CRM.  Since then Derek has led a number of CRM specific projects prior to starting Eligeo in 2008.  Since Goldmine Derek has successfully implemented custom CRM solutions, Salesforce, SugarCRM, Maximizer, Goldmine, MS Dynamics, Siebel CRM and many many more.  Derek’s experience helps our clients achieve their goals and visions with ideas, solutions and strategies.  You can read more from Derek on the Eligeo blog as well as subcribe to his weekly CRM Buzz newsletter.

We Give Back with Eligeo C.A.R.E.

Since 2008, Eligeo C.A.R.E. (Communities Are Really Everything) has been giving back to number of organizations including Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, Scouts Canada, KidSport, Boys and Girls Clubs and many others.  In 2019, we also launched our first CRM grant for non-profit organizations.
