We had an excellent first day where customers, prospects and partners all came together for the first big day of SugarCon.  There was a lot to be excited about including the unveiling of Sugar 7 and the high number of sessions that were available for everyone to attend.

Sugar 7 is big, really big

All I can say about Sugar 7 is wow.  This is a huge leap forward for the product and it is going to blow the socks off everyone when it is released this summer.  Sugar 7 has some really powerful social tools built in that allow you to take communication internally and externally to a whole new level.  Sugar 6 is an incredible and powerful to begin with and the new user interfaces being introduced in version 7 are really going to take things to the next level.

If you think you’re doing drip marketing, you’re not

Most of our customers can tell you all about their sales stages but as we learned in the Pardot session, you can’t neglect the marketing stages.  Whether you’re delivering through direct mail, email newsletters or social media, you need to know what stage of the process your prospect is in.  Once you know that then you can accurately and properly deliver the right messages at the right times.

Lots of Customers & Prospects

One of the great things about this conference is the number of customers and prospective customers at the event.  It’s really encouraging to see all of the excited customers who have been sharing their experiences with everyone.  The range of customers from all over the world has been incredible as I’ve had the opportunity to talk to customers from all over the world about SugarCRM.  There are no boundaries when it comes to deliver incredible customer service using SugarCRM.

Today is the final day of the conference itself.  I’m looking forward to connecting with more individuals and finding ways and ideas that can continue to help change the way our customers utilize CRM.
