Our first day at SugarCon was a lot of fun and I had the opportunity to meet several people I’ve only known through the telephone. Unfortunately I missed half the day of the conference due to travel issues but I was able to catch up and meet with Sugar Partners from across the globe.
One thing I really enjoy about the partners at Sugar is the fact that every single one of them is interested in seeing each other succeed or finding ways to work with each that can be mutually beneficial. I really enjoyed discussing ideas and ways to really make Sugar stick with companies and help these organizations really excel on the way that they utilize Sugar in their every day lives.
Find a CRM Hero
Christian from W-Systems put on a great presentation about finding the CRM Hero in your company. One thing at Eligeo that we encourage is education and on-going training and Christian hit the mark. We can help you implement and customize Sugar to its fullest but where you will find your best benefit is when you find that key person in your organization to be the CRM Hero or expert that knows your CRM system inside and out. Whether it is adding a new field or creating a report, you need one or two people to really be able to take the fullest advantage of SugarCRM.
Save Money – Switch to Sugar
If you’re like a lot of businesses out there, you’re probably wondering if Sugar is right for you or if you need to look at competing products like Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Sam from Technology Advisors nailed it home as he described the cost savings you can get with SugarCRM. In some cases companies are saving hundreds of thousands of dollars per year even after switching from these competing products. The best part is that you’re not switching to an inferior product, you’re switching to a system that is equivalent in core CRM features and has superior functionality in customization and scalability.
Those were a couple of key points to kick off the event and today is the start of the full conference schedule. Sugar 7 is on display and its official announcement comes today so it should be an incredibly exciting day ahead. Click here to read ‘SugarCon Day 2: Customer Day–>
